Jim Mutch, C.M.T., C.Z.B

Background

Originally trained and licensed as a Pharmacist, Jim spent 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry developing new drugs. He retired from that profession in 1996 and has studied extensively to gain proficiency in bodymind modalities. A Reiki Master Teacher, he is also Certified in PUSH Therapy, Massage, ZeroBalancing, Process Acupressure and Hypnotherapy. He has studied extensively in CranioSacral Therapy and also has facility in Myofascial Release techniques and Repetitive Use Injury Therapy.

Besides having a B.S. in Pharmacy, he has had over 1000 hours of training in these various hands-on, integrative modalities. He chose this second career, which he has started and expanded on since 1996, to help individuals in a holistic manner on their path to total wellness.

Service Description

Jim helps individuals who are feeling out of balance in mind/body/spirit and emotion. By using the bodywork modalities either alone or together with Reiki energy and mind/spirit modalities such as Process Acupressure or Hypnotherapy, he helps his clients on their path to total wellness. The depth of the work, from Reiki instruction or Reiki energy work to deeper body work such as PUSH Therapy, Zero Balancing, Therapeutic Massage, Myofascial Release or Repetitive Use Injury Therapy is determined on an individual basis after consultation with the client.

All methods involve hands-on bodywork to access and release areas or issues where you are physically and/or emotionally "stuck". Since Jim is a Reiki Master, he also uses Reiki energy to facilitate and accentuate many of his techniques. If you have a non-emergency condition and you are seeking alternative or complementary therapy, Jim's practice is a good place to start. He will either help you himself or will help you find someone in the alternative and complementary care field who can.
